Gilbert Yablon, president and founder of SMART Dialing Systems, holds three U.S. patents, the first of which was filed in May of 1997, under the title "unified method and apparatus to simplify telephone area code dialing," and a fourth patent is pending.  He has been involved in the telecommunications industry as a change advocate for more than a decade. As a consumer frustrated with the disruptions posed by the current options for area code relief, Yablon founded Smart Dialing Systems to use his tech expertise to find workable solutions benefiting the consumer and the phone companies.

In addition to his telecommunications work, Yablon is co-owner of a San Fernando Valley-based motion graphics and special effects house serving the entertainment industry for nearly three decades.  As such, he has created proprietary technologies utilized on high-profile projects for many major film studios, including Disney, Universal and Columbia.
